Nickomo who wrote the harmonic temple songs we sang at the Spring Sing is one of the organisers of the Unicorn Naturla Voice Camp. A week of singing, workshops, relaxing, letting-go and fun fun fun in a field in Somerset/Wiltshire (yes both).

Our camps are held in wildflower meadows near Bradford on Avon. They are vibrant, fun and peaceful events where children, teenagers and adults can find friendship, creativity, personal growth and community. We camp in circles around campfires in a quiet acoustic environment. At the hub of the camp is a village green with a cafe, shop, information tent and a children’s play and creativity area. There are hot showers and compost toilets.

We have a full programme of wonderful events and workshops throughout each day led by experienced and inspiring teachers and facilitators and events to enjoy every evening. Children and teenagers have their own dedicated teams providing a daily programme of activities and workshops. Activities, workshops and events are held in large marquees, carpeted yurts and colourful big tops as well as outdoors in the fields and woods.

Marvellous job

I really enjoyed the workshop. The venue was perfect and just the right number of attendees. Loved all of the songs … It was great value for money and all of the tutors and helpers did a marvellous job.

Many thanks and I and look forward to attending more.

Melanie

Hope you’ll arrange some more

Really enjoyed the workshop last Sunday and hope you’ll arrange some more, ideally in a convenient location if possible!
Venue – Plenty of space for the numbers, good acoustic, good kitchen and toilet facilities, well-maintained and attractive, airy, nice outlook.
Music – good variety with contrasting pieces all doable on the day with a large group of mixed ability singers.
Good to have the luxury of 4 experienced leaders, one per part, which made it possible to do more. Tea and lunch breaks worked well. Thanks to the helpers.

We plan to have learning materials (sheet music and teach tracks) available to download in early August and everyone who has signed up by then will receive an email with details.  Anyone who signs up after the learning materials are available will receive a link in their acknowledgement email.

*** You do not need to be able to read music to sing with us at this event.***
